Know the biz
As a screen actor, shooting your scenes is the easy part. Gain not only the technical and performance skills required of a working actor, but also a deep understanding of the business of the screen industry through hands-on practice completing self-tape submissions, sourcing agent representation, building your audition toolkit, and identifying and marketing yourself to productions, casting directors, and broadcasters.

Refine your performance skills through scene study, improvisation, sketch comedy, voice, and movement training. Perfect your audition technique and self-tape skills while building real on-set experience across multiple projects. Learn to write, pitch, and direct your own short film — then step in front of the camera and act in it. Master the business side of the industry, from career planning and social media strategy to pitching and funding your own projects. Graduate as a confident, versatile, and market-savvy actor ready to work in film, television, and beyond.

Students are expected to make satisfactory progress in their studies and meet all assignment deadlines. Any student who fails two or more courses in a term must meet with the department head to discuss their academic performance. Passing grade equals 50%.
